Development status of heat-resistant conveyor belts in China

The existing achievements of heat-resistant conveyor belts are gradually unable to meet the needs of industrial production, so there is a need for technological innovation.

At present, the temperature of materials transported in domestic coking, cement, metallurgy and other industries is often between 200 and 500 degrees Celsius, sometimes even above 800 degrees Celsius. In addition to severe wear, impact, and displacement effects, high-temperature resistant conveyor belts need to be adapted to it. The chemical industry HG2297-92 divides heat-resistant conveyor belts into T1, T2, and T3 grades, with corresponding test temperatures of 100, 125, and 150 degrees Celsius, respectively. It is already obvious that it cannot adapt to the current usage requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to have an understanding of the skeleton materials, covering adhesive, matching system, and processing technology of heat-resistant conveyor belts in order to develop new types of heat-resistant conveyor belts with long service life to meet the development needs of these industries.
